Susan Stahr
1949-11-18 2012-02-21
Sue at the age of 62 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.
Sue was born in Hopkins, MN, to Ralph and Lyla (Hallgren) Cox. Graduated from St. Louis Park in 1967. Sue lived most of her life in the Minneapolis area and worked at FosterCare, Childcare in Hennepin County for many years. Sue was especially proud of her years as a foster mother to many infants and children. Ten years ago, she moved to Madison to be close to her son. Although Sue worked in a few different fields, the common thread among them was often caregiving, most recently with Dreamweavers in Madison. She loved and respected all living creatures and shared her home with a wide variety of them over her lifetime.
Sue is survived by her son, James Stahr (Elizabeth Kerwin); grandchildren, Lilly, Maggie and Henry; her soulmate, Terald Johnsrud; and his three children, Elizabeth Herrling (Scott), Kevin Johnsrud and Robin Johnsrud; grandchildren, Brianna, Samantha and Luke; her cat, Samantha; her many friends; and “her people” at Dreamweavers.
