Hi everyone! I am part of a team skiing 100 verticle feet at Jiminy Peak on Monday, February 24th to raise money for a very worthy non-profit, STRIDE Adaptive Sports (www.stride.org). For many years, STRIDE has been educating and empowering individuals with special needs in life-affirming sport and recreation programs to sustain healthy, active and fun lifestyles. STRIDE believes no one should be left behind because of a disability! They have proven that it is possible to remove boundaries, fulfill dreams, enhance self-esteem and empower those with disabilities through participation in sport and recreational activities. As a life-long skier, this is a cause I am passionate about. On February 24th, I am looking forward to helping acheive our goals, having fun and helping a great cause!
