Hudson Baker is 3 years old and lives in Texas. He is currently fighting a type of brain cancer called, Sonic Hedgehog Medulloblastoma. 

His diagnosis came as a complete shock on November 22, 2021, when Hudson was 2 years old. He was sick for a couple of weeks, and as his symptoms became more obvious and severe, they took him to the emergency room --- that was the day the doctors discovered a mass on his brain.

Hudson immediately underwent emergency surgery to drain the fluid to release the pressure. Following the emergency surgery, his doctors scheduled an all-day surgery on November 26, 2021 (Thanksgiving Day) to completely remove the mass. We feel incredibly grateful that Hudson had one of the best surgeons, who completed this surgery successfully. Although this was a success, it would be only the beginning of Hudson's fight against cancer. 

Hudson was so incredibly resilient, and after undergoing six months of Chemotherapy treatments, he beat cancer and got to 'ring the bell' celebrating the demise of the nasty tumor.  

Unfortunately, at his 6 month checkup MRI, after ringing the bell, it was identified that the cancer had returned, and was even worse than before.  This next fight against the cancer was going to be tough, but little Hudson was up for the challenge to knock the cancer out. 

On January 7, 2023 he started radiation therapy treatments - 28 rounds for the next few months.   After radation is completed, another round of chemotherpy is expected for the following 12 months. 

Brittany and Jana have a loving village, full of friends and family who have shown enormous support during this incredibly difficult time.

Prayers, above all, are most appreciated. 

We will continue to join Hudson in his fight and truly appreciate everyone's support.
