Ms. Mary Myers was born in Sarasota, FL on October 10, 1945. Her family moved to the Tampa area when she was very young. She was educated in Hillsborough County Schools and was a graduate of Middleton High School class of 1963. She attended Gibbs Junior College. She worked as a teacher's aide at Phillip Shore Elementary for two years. She also worked for Honeywell and later began her final career with Olan Mills Studio's as a Proof Consultant where she retired after over 30 years of Service.

Mary was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for almost 30 years; she served in the Adult Choir.

On Sunday, September 16, 2018, after a long illness, the Lord called Mary home from her early tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Daniel & Mrs. Ida Myers, 2 Sisters, JoAnn Myers and Betty Turner, 1 brother, 1 Joseph Myers, 1 nephew, James Smiley Jr. and 1 Brother-n-law, George Hines.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters: Janet My- ers Smiley (James St.), Joyce Myers Bludsaw (George) and Melinda Myers Hines, Two brothers: Daniel W. Myers Jr and Anthony D. Myers. Seven nieces: Bridgette Campbell, Janine Smiley Rollison (Alfonso), Delvie Myers, Cecilia Bennett-Walker (Brandyet), Danielle Myers, Angela Bludsaw-Walker (Bob), Amelia Bludsaw Winters (Kelly St.). Three nephews: Randall D. Simmons, Ricky C. Turner, and Jeffrey D. Smiley (Solitaire) and a host of other great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
