On September 2, 1943, Mr. Frederick Myers A Life Given: was born to the late Reverend Samuel, Sr. and Estella Myers in Birmingham, Alabama.
HIS LIFE
Living Life: He accepted Christ at an early age at New Morning Star Baptist Church under his father the late Reverend Samuel Myers, Sr. and later moved his membership to Twenty-Third Street Baptist Church where he served in the choir. He graduated from Ullman High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Miles College in 1974. He served in the Army from May 1965 to May 1967 as a Military Police Officer. He worked as a Cranes Man with Conner Steel until his retirement.
HIS DEPARTURE
Home Going: On Thursday, July 11, 2019, Frederick heard his name being called and the Lord saying, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant!" He transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home to seek his eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Samuel Myers, Sr. and Estella Myers; his sisters, Mary Ann Larry and Claudia Cummings and his brother, Samuel Myers, Jr.

Legacies: He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Dr. Farinna (Corey) Willis of Birmingham, AL; two grandsons, JaCorian and Jaivian Willis; granddaughter, Katelan Willis of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Madeline Jean Rice of Cleveland, OH and Catheleen Osberry of Birmingham, AL; a brother, Calvin (Doris) Myers of Birmingham, AL; best friend and brother-in-law, Charles Larry of Birmingham, AL; nieces, nephews and a host of other loved in-laws, family members and friends.
