Sharon Ann Conder, beloved wife of Chuck Conder, went to heaven to be with God and her precious mother, passing away in her sleep on October 27 in Riverside, CA. She was born in Denver, Colorado to Ken and Lois Cummings (Zimmerschied), graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1972. Sharon attended the University of Wyoming where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacology before being hired as a Pharmacist in Cheyenne’s Memorial Hospital. Sharon and Chuck were married on November 27, 1981, in Cheyenne, and had four children together: Charlie (Sarah), Pam (Kate), Danny (Katt) and Brian (Kat). Like her husband, Sharon was a patriot with a great love for God, her Country, and her family. While she enjoyed watching the Broncos and Angels, bowling and playing bunco with friends, she loved nothing more than spending time with her precious grandchildren: Virginia, Annelise, Caroline, Madeline and William. Sharon is survived by her husband Chuck Conder, her father, Ken Cummings (Joanie), and her mother-in-law Phyllis Conder. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lois in 2012.

Sharon is another ROTC colleague and friend on this sad list. I was not aware of her passing. Aside from "official" functions, she was a great part of the little ROTC social group I participated in during junior and senior years.

She had gone to Slavens Elementary, and was one of those folks who were particularly good students that I was envious of (partly due in my opinion to better grounding than what some of us got at University Park.) Always smart, cheerful, and full of fun. I think I last saw her at the 20-year reunion, and unfortunately did not keep in touch. Very sorry, old friend. Requiescet in pace.

I was so saddened to read Sharon's name in this list of classmates who have passed. She was a good friend in High School, and regretfully we lost touch after graduation. I have many memories of this kind and intelligent and fun woman, often a partner in pranks like stalking boys or TP'ing someone's house, or double dating for Military Ball. Many pleasant memories, make me smile as I reminisce. Rest in peace Sharon
