Lost track of Scotty a couple of years after high school, but from my erratic memories he was great guy to hang around with and had a wicked sense of humor. Finding out he had passed was a bit of a shock; reading these all these memories from people we went to school with makes a person realize just how fragile life is. RIP Scotty
tribute by John CoulterScott's path and mine only crossed once...I sat next to him in Fall '71 trig class taught by Mr. Nicholson. One might think that a smart, talented guy like that would be full of himself (he was the football team's quarterback with a winning record! He dated one of the most gorgeous girls in the class!) and not be interested in non-teammate regular kids, but that certainly was not the case. I found him to be unfailingly fun, friendly, and interested in everything and everyone....seemingly unaware of his own attributes and successes. An impressive person of great character.
