Vicki was a friend of mine at TJ and after. She was gorgeous -- inside and out. She had beautiful clothes, shoes and the best bows in her hair. I'm sure every girl admired her; I sure did. She had beautiful skin always with never even a breakout. With all that, Vicki was hilarious. She made me laugh and laugh. In our 50's, a few months before she passed away, I remember several conversations we had where I would laugh to the point I had tears running down my face. Vicki Mae Cook was lovable, beautiful and endearing. I remember her with fondness. I miss her and her wicked sense of humor. Much love and continue to rest in peace, dear Vicki.

I was fortunate enough to spend some time with Vicky in high school through the autumn of 1974. Vicky was among the kindest and most gracious persons I’ve ever known. I will forever treasure her memory.

Outwardly everyone knows Vicki Cook was drop dead gorgeous and hauntingly sexy. Vicki could easily have been stuck-up, but she wasn’t. Far from it – there was too much goodness in her. I believe my cousin Marilyn perfectly captured Vicki’s personality – bright, sassy, funny, and adorable. But Vicki was also very kind and understanding. I could talk with Vicki about my ‘girl’ problems, and she would listen to me and offer helpful advice. Then, sometimes she would end our conversation by smiling and tease me with an irritating bit of sarcasm, making it impossible to take myself seriously, and we would laugh. Being around Vicki was fun for me, it made me happy, and I adored her. How can you stop loving an angel?

Bright, sassy, and adorable. My memories are vast, hilarious, and emotional with Vicki as one of my closest friends at Slavens Elementary, Thomas Jefferson High School, and many years beyond as adults. She always continued and slowed down from early morning until evening. Vicki loved music; her favorite song was by Eric Clapton, and she loved to dance to The Supremes. Vicki danced, flirted, and lived life. I remember she had the best Capezio shoes in all of Denver, with clothing to match each pair! Vicki’s darling face and innocent laughter got her in and out of trouble faster than a heartbeat! A lover of the 'holiday season' and creator of fun. She felt most alive when she was in the mountains and today is buried at the cemetery in Grand Lake. We miss her and will never forget so many moments.

Vickie was a wonderful friend of Laura. They met in the 7th grade and remained friends many years after graduating. They both had a love of animals and were both had a passion of art.
