Memorial services for David Douglas Marvin of Denver will be at 10a.m. Saturday at Fairmount Mortuary. Marvin, 29, died April 28 as the result of a kayaking accident on the South Platte River.
He was born Oct. 12, 1955 in Havre, Montana. He was graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Western State College in Gunnison. He was a cargo handler.
Marvin was a past member of the North American Falconry Association. He was an artist and a student of nature.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Bonnie; three brothers, Mike, John and Scott; and his grandfather, Herman Hinrichs. --From Denver Post May 17, 1985
