Several years after high school, Mitch enlisted in the Marine Corps. He married Marcie Miller (Lidman). Mitch was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California where he and Marcie lived in Oceanside, California. When he was sent to Okinawa, Japan Marcie moved back to the Denver area. They settled in Englewood, Colorado after he was discharged from the Marine Corps, where they raised their two boys. Mitch worked as a professional auto body painter in a body shop. He was an avid Hot Wheels collector, he and Marcie attended Hot wheels conventions twice a year and enjoyed connecting with other Hot Wheels enthusiasts, he was very proud of his Hot Wheels collection which is the third largest in Colorado. He and Marcie enjoyed e-biking along the South Platte, always stopping at Dave’s Rock, a memorial for his best friend Dave Marvin (off of Union Ave and the South Platte). Mitch died in an e-bike accident in Englewood and is greatly missed by his family.
