Comment: Retired, and living in Montana, my home since 1978. My wife, Jean Matthews (Central '75) and I owned a bookstore from 1986 to 2009. We sold it and joined the Peace Corps, serving two years in Peru, 2009-2011. On my return, I started running adventure travel trips back to Peru. I have also been a freelance writer for the last 45 years, and an advocate for local independent business. Jean passed away from cancer in 2015; I miss her every day, but am now happily sharing a life with a long-time friend, who also lost her spouse. We travel, make music, and enjoy our Montana home, outdoors in all seasons. Cheers to all my classmates -- I was extremely lucky to have had such good friends in high school, who helped set me on the ridiculously fortunate path I've taken! |

I retired as an HR Analyst at OU-Tulsa in 2021 & just recently went back to work part-time at Saint Francis Hospital. I also judge marching bands, color guards & winterguards. Comment:
Followed HS with Spanish degree from OSU. Was married to classmate Brian Ross Myers for 25 years. We share 2 talented, successful sons and 4 precious grandchildren. I had a varied career life, mosty involved in administrative/operations roles. Enjoyed very much my 23 years working, traveling and relocating several times with Hilti Latin America snd Hilti North America. After a couple years at home and getting my mother relocated from Tulsa to Texas, I decided to substitute teach (because I am a glutton for punishment). In my spare time I craft handmade cards and spend as much time as possible with my four grandchildren. |
