Teaching 7th graders in Moore Public Schools and taking them to Washington, D.C. led to a new career in 1988, with the student group travel industry based in Charlottesville, VA. After 14-1/2 years I switched to the health club industry and a “Top 100” network of clubs opened and managed by the same owner as the student travel agency. I retired after 16-1/2 years of working behind the scenes for the health clubs. For the fun of it, I now work a few hours a week for UVA at sporting events (I’m a college sports nut), concerts and other community events. I’m a UVA fan until OU comes to town. My Virginia license plate for 35 years has read, “1Sooner,” in case my Oklahoma roots are ever questioned. ;-) I really look forward to seeing my classmates at our reunion! |

| Comment: I attended OSU for 3 yrs & then nursing school. I spent 11 yrs as a nurse, primarily in Newborn Nursery, Labor & Delivery & Pediatrics. I got very burned out & had an opportunity to change careers. I then went into Human Resources & advocacy work with an emphasis on labor relations. I retired as an HR Analyst at OU-Tulsa in 2021 & just recently went back to work part-time at Saint Francis Hospital. I also judge marching bands, color guards & winterguards. I enjoy traveling, music, & reading. | |
