Janet, born November 12, 1954. Janet passed away on March 13, 1997 in the city where she resided, Indianapolis, IN. She is survived by: her husband, Fred; her daughter, Allison; her parents, Bob J. and Marcia Vassar of Tulsa; and numerous friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clay. Jan owned an insurance agency in Indianapolis and had received numerous awards for her accomplishments in the property, casualty, and life insurance field. She was also active in church and other community affairs. After growing up in Tulsa she completed her education at the University of Oklahoma together with Oklahoma State, then worked in the dental business for several years before marrying her husband, Fred Hunter of New Orleans, LA. Funeral service was held on Monday in Indianapolis, then Jan was brought home to Tulsa where she is buried in the family plot at Memorial Cemetary.
