1955-2019

From John's funeral service program:

"There are no problems, only solutions".

From being humble beginnings, he blazed his own path--like playing ice hockey in Oklahoma. John became professionally successful by getting into software sales when computers were barely smaller than basements.

John loved being a dad, an uncle, and a grandparent. He would meet his kids were they were and his imagination was bigger than anyone's. He was often invited to play with the neighborhood kids even when his own children weren't home. His carefree and positive approach to life taught us all a better way to live.

John is survived by his daughter, Jen Armstrong; his sons Eric and Patrick, and his lifelong friend, Tom Wright. His funeral was held in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
