At the Peterson-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Street, Elmhurst, where friends may call on Monday, 4 to 9 p.m. Services Tuesday, 2 p.m., at First Congregational Church, S. Kenilworth Avenue and Church Street, Elmhurst. Interment Mount Emblem.

IN MEMORIAM – THOMAS BASH
During his years at York, Tom won his cross country and track numerals freshman and sophomore years, set a York track record in the 880 track event in 1968, won a cross country letter his junior year, and was one of five cross country runners who established the national high school cross country record in the two mile run.
He served on Student Council freshman and junior years, was class treasurer his sophomore year, and was on York-Hi sports staff his junior year. Tom was an honor roll student and was chosen as the 1967 freshman citizen of the year.
He will long be remembered by the class of 1970 and others for the outstanding person he was.

Tom was such a wonderful guy! It's such a shame that the world was not able to benefit from his potential.
