John graduated in 70 and went on to college at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Every Christmas break I would drive up and pick him up. He had a great interest in radio and electronics. We shared our passion for cars also. He worked for a time at his father’s company in Chicago-Empire Sound and Cooler Service, servicing music and ice machines. Later in life he settled into the life of a rancher and trucker in Fallon, Nevada. He once came to my aid when I broke down in the desert near Fallon. He succumbed to lung cancer, despite the fact he was a non smoker. He is survived by his sister-Joan Cessford Lamp, who I believe resides in Michigan.
