Ellen E. Schade Lambert, 58, Bourbonnais, died Sunday (Jan. 9, 2011) at her home.
A memorial service was held Wednesday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, where she was a member.
She was born Nov. 8, 1952, in Elmhurst, the daughter of Rudolf and Hanna Schade.
Surviving are her husband, Greg Lambert, whom she married April 12, 1997, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Kankakee; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Paul Page of St. Anne; two stepsons, Mark Lambert of Atlanta, Ga., Kevin Lambert of Manteno; three stepdaughters, Lisa (Lee) Bauer of Bonfield, Brooke Lambert of Wilmington, Kelly Lambert of Peotone; and six step-grandchildren; her mother, Hanna Schade of Elmhurst; her brother, Rudy Schade of LaGrange; and her mother-in-law, Kay Lambert, of Bourbonnais. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister-in-law, Cindy Schade.
Mrs. Lambert retired from Bunge Foods, Bradley, where she worked as an analytical chemist for 26 years. She served as an animal ambassador with her golden retrievers at Riverside Medical Center.
Visitation was Tuesday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Cremation rites were accorded.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
