Vicki McMonigle

Victoria Marie McMonigle (nee Stevenson), age 65, passed away on August 1, 2017 as a result of a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Clarisa) and granddaughter Violet. Also, her sister Debra Martin and her dad, Duane Stevenson. She leaves a devoted partner, Donald Haste, with whom she enjoyed living and farming in Southern Indiana. There is also an extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts and many friends.
She was raised in Lombard and Elmhurst IL, attended Addison Trail High School and graduated from York High School. Married Paul McMonigle and became mother to Robert.
Vicki did volunteer duty at Robert’s schools and secured a secretary position at York High School. Her career filled out with secretarial and Girl Friday work before going to the farm in Indiana.
She was a jovial, outspoken, friendly person and was a poet and dedicated knitter, gifting all her craft work to many.
A memorial is to be held in Illinois on Friday, August 11th in Lombard at the Lombard Lagoon Park near North Ave. and Grace St. from 3:00 – 8:00 pm.
