Douglas Prugh Wagner, 61, of St. Charles, IL, died on March 10, 2014 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva. Doug was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on April 27, 1952 to the family of David and Doris (Rhodes) Wagner.
He is a graduate of York Community High School in Elmhurst, and Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He married Joy Daily on September 16, 1978.
In his career Doug worked for a variety of employers including the City of Geneva, the Wheaton Public Schools, Lunt Manufacturing, Carroll Towers and Intertech Security.
Doug is remembered for his ready smile, kind, generous and friendly spirit, his willingness to help others, and his love of animals.
Doug is survived by his loving wife, Joy, by his brothers, Glenn (Nancy) and Richard, by his sister Jane; a sister-in-law Faith (Greg) Rawley; two nephews, Michael Wagner and Nathan Rawley; and two nieces Bethany (Aaron) Gimm and Elyse Rawley and many cousins and dear friends.
