Mary Lou's Coleslaw (Frank's favorite)

Ingredients

1 large head of cabbage (minced)

1 large white onion (coarsely chopped)

1 cup canola oil

1 cup white vinegar

3/4 cup sugar

2 teaspoons celery seeds

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried mustard

 

 

 

Instructions

Mince up 1 lg head of cabbage using a food processor

Coarse chop 1 lg onion

In a small pot, stir together the vinegar, salt, dry mustard, celery seed, and sugar and bring it to a low boil.  Remove from heat and wisk in canola oil.

Pour mixture over cabbage and onion, then refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.

Stir and serve.
