Joshua Timothy Eckelman February 21, 1986 - November 27, 2010, 24.

On Saturday evening of November 27, 2010 Joshua was received into the loving arms of his Dad, his grandfather and his Heavenly Father.

Josh adored his family. He was the light of his Mother and Fathers lives from the day he was born. He loved his two big sisters, Krissy and Amber, who spent much of their time taking care of their baby brother. He could also be found with his brother Scott Romine. They had a lot of fun together getting into trouble from the time they were little boys. To help someone made Josh happy. He took care of everyone around him, especially his family. When his Dad died, Josh moved home from I.U. at age 20 to take over the family business. He made everyone laugh, if you knew him, you most certainly have a funny story to tell about him. Josh enjoyed being outdoors, racing Harley Davidson Motorcycles, watching ESPN and CSI while wrapped up in a blanket eating amazing amounts of candy. He could also be found playing trucks with his nephew, Jacob or chasing after his niece Alex who he loved dearly.

Josh was an excellent basketball player and coached youth basketball for years at St. Peters Lutheran Church (where he was a life-long member). Joshua was an intelligent, funny, charismatic, caring individual who is loved by many. There are too many stories, too many laughs for him to ever be forgotten.

Joshua son of Timothy Joe and Denise Lewis Eckelman. Survivors include his mother; sisters, Amber M. (Aaron) Mast of Bloomington and Kirsten D. Eckelman of Columbus; grandparents, Maynard and Aleta Lewis of Columbus; niece and nephew, Alexandria and Jacob Mast; several aunt and uncles; and close friend, Scott M. Romine of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Maurice and Marian Eckelman.
