1987-03-17 2020-02-19
Timothy McLean Lashua, born March 17, 1987 in Columbus, passed away February 19, 2020 from a long-term drug addiction and is now in the arms of Jesus. Please pray for the many that continue to struggle with addiction.
Tim graduated from Columbus East in 2005. He proudly wore the orange jersey playing football and wrestling at the school. As a little boy he struggled trying to find his niche in sports and finally found that he was good at those two sports. The love of football continued throughout his life.
He attended IUPUC and the University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma had always been his favorite college team from a young age.
He had a passion for construction and fixing things. When he moved back to Columbus from Oklahoma, he started his own business, ‘Lashua Home Solutions’ which continued until his death.
Tim had a huge heart and love for animals, especially the pitbull puppy of six weeks that he brought home that is now thirteen years old. He always credited Nina for saving his life.
It has been said of Tim that he had a big heart and was a gentle giant.
Tim leaves behind his mother and father, Mark and Penni Lashua of Columbus, his sister Sarah Lashua, and sister Katie Geller of Little Elm, Texas, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
