Chad Eric Soliday May 21, 1987 - February 02, 2011 Chad Eric Soliday, 23, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in Indianapolis. Chad was the Indiana Easter Seal Child in 1993. He was born with Arthrogryposis, which prevented him from using his arms and legs but not from graduating high school and getting his associate of science degree from Purdue University. A student at IUPUI, Chad was expected to graduate at the end of this semester with a bachelors degree in computer graphics technology. He was a member of SIGGRAPH, a computer graphics organization. While in high school, Chad was the entertainment editor of the high school newspaper and graduated in the top 15% of his class. He planned to move to California to become an animator for Nickelodeon Studios. He was a huge fan of American Idol and loved the holidays. He was also a member of the Lakeview Church of Christ. Born in Indianapolis May 21, 1987, Chad was the son of Marvin and Gloria Hoskins Soliday. Survivors include his parents, of Columbus; brothers, Jeremy (Leslie) Soliday of Columbus and Cody Soliday of Columbus; grandparents, Floyd and Carolyn Soliday of Pekin and Juanita Hoskins of Columbus; an aunt, Lori Hein of Pekin; uncles, Mike Soliday of Orleans, Lonnie Hoskins of Floyds Knobs and Michael Hoskins of New Albany; nephews, Devin and Caleb Soliday; and a niece, Kassidy Soliday. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Arthur Hoskins. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Saturday, February 5, at Lakeview Church of Christ with Rich Gant officiating. CALLING: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church. BURIAL: Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
