I remember my grandfather, Willis, as a kind and warms grandpa. He always brought candy when he visited. One time I became homesick when staying with them in Cook. They brought me home. I'll always remember! My grandpa, Willis, passes away close to my 7th birthday so I did not have the opportunity to know him as an adult. My grandma, Cora, taught me how to sew on her treadle sewing machine. It proved an invaluable skill for me as I made all my clothes from the age of 15. |
