Christine Renee Evelock, of Granger, unexpectedly passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, October 9, 2018, with her loving husband by her side at her residence, after a courageous 11-year battle with Lupus.
She was born in South Bend to Hugh and Carol Gruver on April 8, 1967. She has lived in South Bend, Goshen, Elkhart, Hurst (TX), Chandler (AZ), and Tempe (AZ). She attended Mesa Community College and Arizona State University, studying Interior Design.
On January 20, 2003 she married Thomas Evelock. They were married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, NV. As long time season ticket holders, they both enjoyed attending the South Bend Broadway Theatre League productions. Christine and Tom enjoyed being “foodies” at many different restaurants in our region.
