Timothy Dalton

Timothy Dalton

2013-08-08
The gates of heaven closed safely behind Timothy Benedict Dalton early Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, in a tragic motorcycle accident. We were all blessed by him for 46 brief years. His life here is marked by his continuous focus on service to others, from his academic fulfillment with a degree in philosophy and also nursing from the University of the Philippines. He served all of us, from all walks of life in all times of distress through his caring skills at HEB. His special touch also reached out to a wide family of patients in the family's dental practice in Bedford. Even with an extended family so large, Tim put his own family at the top of his mind and the center of his heart: They were the star his orbit followed. In a world where neighbors are often distant acquaintances, Tim was a respected and loved presence, among the children and adults as well. We mourn for his passing from us, while at the same time we rejoice in the eternity he now resides, the place where we will meet him again. Survivors: Beloved wife, Gemma Dalton; his first-born son, Tymon 15; son, Lyndon, 8; twin daughters, Sharon and Kirsten, 7; beloved mother, Carolyn Dalton; father, Alvin Dalton Jr. and stepmother, Sheryl; siblings, Drs. Stephen Dalton and wife, Ronda, of Lubbock, and Officer Scott Dalton and wife, Kathy; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and friends and neighbors.
