From his family: We said goodbye to dad tonight. He passed in peace and surrounded by his family. We would like to thank all of Dad's friends who have sent their thoughts and prayers, visited him, and brought his favorite treats during this journey.

From his co-workers: Our office is empty and heavy-hearted today with the loss of our dear friend and company family member Richard Nodler yesterday. Richard was a furniture and mattress rep for us who worked out of our office. Someone we saw pretty much on a daily basis, and someone we have known for many years. He was a kind and generous soul. A soft-hearted happy-go-lucky kind of guy. Someone you could give a hard time to and joke with, and he was always a great sport with a positive outlook. Always willing to pitch in and help! Richard had been diagnosed just 3 weeks ago with stage 4 lung cancer which had also spread to his liver. Thankful he did not have to suffer too long, but we will miss him dearly. Praying also for his wife Dana, Son Brandon (who works for us), and daughter Nicole & her family.
