David G. Russell of 2623 W. 49th St. died Saturday, July 7, 1979. Services were held at Cook-Walden Funeral Home and interment at Austin Memorial Park. He was survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew L. Russell Jr. of Austin, brothers, Randy Russell of Houston. Frank Russell of Houston, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A Lynn Russell Sr. of Austin.

David graduated from Anderson High School where he was track manager, baseball manager, and participated in the science fair.
