Leslie N. Munson, 61, of Uhrichsville, formerly of Austin, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Leslie was born October 10, 1955 to the late Malcolm and Tilda (Branch) Munson at Fort Dix, New Jersey and was raised all over the world as his father was enlisted in the U.S. Army. His family moved and settled in Austin, Texas in 1969.

Leslie was a 1974 graduate of Anderson High, enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and had a naval career of 7 years, 9 months. While in the service, he met and married Vicky K. Garbrandt from Uhrichsville. They were married August 2, 1979 in Kingsville, Texas. Upon completion of naval service, they settled in Ohio where he helped his father-in-law with Save-A-Buck Produce.

Leslie is survived by his wife, Vicky, of the home; brother, Lawerance Munson; and sister, Patricia Guillen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Courtright.

In keeping with his wishes, a private family graveside service is planned in Bowerston’s Longview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his wife, in care of Vicky Munson, 226 Pearl St., Uhrichsville, OH 44683, to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
