Graduated from Cornell University, B.S. in Computer Science after high school. Worked 10 years in the computer software industry. Went to St. Charles Borrromeo Seminary, Philadelphia, PA, for 5 years. Am a priest of the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia. Licentiate in Canon Law (Church Law) from the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, 1996. |

| Comment: | I was a family and consumer science teacher for a few years and sometime during that time, I married Jeff Kurlak from our class. When we began having children, I quit. In 1995, he passed away suddenly. I concentrated on bringing my children up but substitute taught and then taught part-time for a cyber school part. When two of our four children moved to Austin, TX, I followed them. I became involved heavily with a church there where I met my second husband who is from the Philadelphia area. Beyond trying to learn more and act more like Christ, I have written a book and love to swim, hike, and travel. |

| Comment: | I transferred into NA at the end of our Junior year, so doubt I will be remembered by many. But I did meet my husband (Jim) at our graduation, and here we are all those years later. I dragged him back to my home town in southern Indiana where we still live, traveling West whenever possible to see our kids and three grand kids. |
