Clifford Brant

1988-03-18
Clifford died of Leukemia.
Jeff Lutz told us that he enjoyed visiting "Tiffy" because his father had ponies. Tiffy was a great friend.
Clifford's wife Bonnie (NA class of 1973) told us that he was a wonderful husband. She told her mother when she was 16 that she was going to marry Clifford - even before they dated! Bonnie said that many people called him Tiffy because his sister couldn't say Clifford. He attended Ashland College and then a year and 1/2 of Law School until his father died. He then started to work with a cousin in the construction business, spending time on the farm with their horses and ponies. Clifford and Bonnie have a wonderful daughter Ashley. When Clifford was diagnosed with Leukemia, he and Bonnie began a 17 month journey with many, many trips to Sewickley Hospital. Bonnie told us about having ice cream parties with the nurses - that's the way Clifford was. Just before Clifford died, he told Bonnie to remarry another specific NA grad. Eventually this did happen and Bonnie now has a second wonderful husband, thanks to Clifford.
