Jane died at age 44, living in Carol Stream, IL. At our 10th reunion she was a Financial Institution Examiner.

She was gesturing with her hands as she was talking, and her fingernail took off a little piece of skin on my face. It created a small scar that has faded over the years, but is still just barely visible. It happened at the Ingomar North pool where most of my memories of Jane are from. There was a big group of girls in our class that hung out there in our junior high days. I seem to remember that Jane and I were always the last ones out of the pool. She was a lot of fun! Sometimes, I thought she was maybe a little too worried about being cool (like 90% of junior high kids), but beneath that facade was a really warm-hearted person that I liked very much. I was really hoping to talk to her at the reunion, and I'm really sorry I won't have that opportunity.
