Keith Grubor
2007-06-08Class clown. Lots of laughs in shop class with practical jokes and Donald Duck impersonation. Twenty years ago, Keith painted our entire house interior with no helper, cathedral ceilings and all. My family still appreciates his work. Rest in peace brother.
tribute by Burt DuerringKeith was a good friend and a kind-hearted guy. I met him when still in grammar school and challenged him to a wrestling match. He proceeded to woop me quickly. Same results years later when I asked him to teach me a little about boxing. I learned not to ask for that lesson twice. We hung out throughout high school. Keith was the most natural athlete I ever met. His lean 6'+ frame was as strong as an ox, his reflexes were lightning fast, and he just plain exceled in all things physical, boxing, golf, billiards, slamming a baseball, you name it. He had a reputation as a top golden gloves boxer, and when Keith was with you nobody messed with you. A real tough guy with an easy going heart of gold. He became a karate black belt, and took breaking things with his bare hands a little too seriously. That caused him a lot of pain later in life. He left us too soon. I miss his silly antics.
