Joe died of a heart attack.
Deb Hoolahan Pegher (her husband is Joe's second cousin): It wasn't until after graduation that I got to know Joe Pegher-Not only was he a fantastic husband and father, he was a good friend to all who knew him. One thing about Joe was that he always had a smile and took the bad with the good. He and his wife (Carol) had nine great kids and when he lost her to breast cancer in '02 he continued raising the kids and kept things together. Joe is missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. It is an honor to have been his friend!
