Roger....crossed from East to West so easily.....joking, smiling, sometimes whining.... and often smiling. Always thought you sort of had a country accent. A truly caring man, gone too early with so much care given in his life. Thanks for your firefighting....thanks for your friendship in High School. I know others will post here. If you only knew us at PHS, you might be surprised that Roger and I were friends, but we were, for the simplest of reasons - we were neighbors. From 5th grade to 9th we were part of a tight-knit group in the neighborhood. There was a tree in my back yard that he liked to climb; I can picture him up there. We went our own ways as we grew up but were always on good terms. At the 20-year reunion when I showed up with long hair and a mustache, Roger was the first person to recognize me. RIP old friend.
