I want to pay tribute to Claire Collins (Marquardt) who went above and beyond the call of duty to nurture and educate our class of '74. If I recall accurately, we were her first freshman class when she became a teacher. Her caring and committed efforts live on with me to this day. She is my shining example of the difference it can make when a teacher's enthusiastic and dedicated efforts get under our skin and change how we see the world before us. Thank you for bringing all your love and appreciation for others to the classroom and always giving each individual a chance to shine.
