Had first child (a son) when very young, never married. Finally, nearly fourteen years ago, married another medical professional (Ophthalmologist from Mexico), and we decided to have a family, together! The result, three, beautiful little girls...triplets! Our big plan was "to have three children - a baby every two years." Well...best laid plans of mice and men... instant full house! Now, the triplets are going to be nine in October and just began third grade. Sadly, not at Flynn Park,...though their elder brother did attend Kindergarten at Flynn! No retired people in our home: my spouse is a practicing physician, and I after a medical degree and a PhD in Bioengineering, followed by 15 years as a Translational professional in Industry, recently accepted a Fellowship opportunity at Wake Forest School of Medicine (Winston-Salem, NC). A lot of life, and still charging ahead, full steam! I have managed to stay in touch with some of my former classmates in recent years. If anyone from U City is so inclined, please feel free to reach out...! Oh,...if you happen to have contact information for Ellen Walker (I do not know a married name for her), please let me know? Great to see so many prosperous and storied former classmates! University City was decidedly unique in its heyday. |
