Don Dovell Memorial services were held Monday at 8 p.m. in the WalterSchoedinger Funeral Home for Don J Dovell, 40, 364 Rogers Drive, Urbana, who died Friday, May 14, 1993, in the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. The Rev. Mike Stewart officiated. He was born Aug. 31, 1952, in Champaign County. Survivors include his mother, Delores Street, Plantation, Fla.; his wife, Kimberly Jo (Metxger) Dovell, whom he married Oct. 20, 1990; one son, Joshua W. Dovell, Urbana; five sisters, Terry (Dovell) Carlson, Plantation, Fla., Tamara Bristoll and Kelli Crossman, both of Adrian, Mich., Dee Clark, Hammond, Ind., and Tasha Catchpole, Kannapolis, N C , three brothers, Tim Dovell, Urbana, and David Dovell and Troy Perm, both of Charlotte, N.C.; and his grandmother, Rosie Smith, Urbana. He was preceded in death by his father, Don J. Dovell, Aug. 25,1990; and one brother. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in the name of Don J. Dovell.
