Looking forward to reconnecting with lots of other Classics this year. Been too long and its way past time to get out and see fellow Highlander. Married to Marsha (Abrams) Watson Class of 1972. Celebrating 47 years of marriage.
Marsha and I left El Paso and went to college in 72 where we got married our Junior years and started careers and moving around North America. She started out as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Amarillo and I a Safety Director at a cement plant. Eventually got recruited into the sales and marketing of commercial explosives and had the opportunity to live and work in lots of places in the U.S. and Canada as well as travel most of the mining and construction markets in the world.
Literally have had a blast the last 37 years in the sales and marketing of explosives. Currently serve on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee for the International Society of Explosives Engineers. A Promo for our industry: Explosives... the Power Tool https://youtu.be/yzlEJBPSbD8

After HS, I went to West Texas A&M, graduated, married, and then returned to El Paso to continue my life and start my teaching career. We had three beautiful children, all born in El Paso. We then moved to Dallas and are now in Spring, TX. I am presently teaching Debate, TV Broadcast, and College & Career Readiness at Conroe ISD in The Woodlands, TX. We are blessed with six wonderful grandchildren.

I married my high school sweetheart George Calleros same Class of '71. We met in 1968 and got married June 3, 1972. We will be celebrating our Golden "50th" Wedding Anniversary this coming June 2022. We have lived in Houston, TX and Albuquerque, NM, but came back to our beautiful city of El Paso. We have 3 sons...sad to say and with broken hearts we lost our middle child Ismael at 43 years old March 2020. Grieving the death of our child is the hardest thing George and I have ever had to live everyday since that moment.

I have led an amazing life as I have done so many things in it! We married in Aug 1974 after I did four years of college and Jan did two. I was a helicopter paramedic in the USAF for four years.We had our daughter in July of 1975. I got out of the USAF Aug 1978 and we came back to El Paso to finish college. Before I graduated I found that I really didn't want to teach/coach after all-lack of discipline in schools. Went into the Highway Patrol instead! We did 25 years in THP moving from Borger,to El Paso and finally to Texarkana-which is Jan's hometown. Jan taught for 25 years before retiring.We moved to Fort Worth to go into business with our kids owning some WINGSTOP restaurants.I did that for 19 years before someone offering my the right X amount and we fully retired. We live in Keller now and our kids live three miles away in Southlake.To say that I am BLESSED is way over the top! I am more than lucky-I am truly blessed!

Joined the Navy after high school, then came back home and worked at El Paso Electric 30 years before moving on to ESCI (Electrical Safety Consultants Inc.) and worked there for 19 years as Director of Safety Operations. I currently sit on the Bel Air Advisory Board.
