Friday Kick-Off

Sept. 18th, 2026 6:00-9:00 pm

Meet & Greet, pizza party & jam session.

Place: Common Room at the First Parish, 75 Great Road, Bedford, Mass

Drop in when you can. Get your nametag, a slice of pizza, and some tonic.

Featuring: Steve's Pizza and Bedford Farms ice cream

Saturday

Sept. 19th, 2026 Bedford Day

Enjoy activities all day in the center of town, from an early morning 5K, to a parade down The Great Road, to a fair by the Town Hall with booths and games and food for all, 10 am - 2 pm.

March in the Parade

The Class of 1976 marches in the Bedford Day Parade.

There may be a float. . .  details to come.

Qigong in the Park

Led by class president, David Damery.

(You can definitely do this--it's slower and more gentle than yoga.)

Lunch on your own

Enjoy lunch and snacks on site from some of the 140 booths at the Bedford Day Fair, or venture out and find one of your favorite old haunts.

Bedford Historical Tour

Time: 1:30 pm

Location: Meet in front of the Town Hall.

Bedford town historian Sharon McDonald is treating our class to a special bus tour of our town. Come learn about all the things that were around you that you never knew about!

Price: Free!

Tour of BHS

Time: 3:00 pm

Meet in front of the high school, for a trip down memory lane. (They say you won't even recognize it.)

Pickleball Open Play

CLASS DINNER, 7 PM

Location: Old Town Hall, 19 South Blvd, Bedford, Massachusetts

Expect an elevated, catered affair--we're only doing this once every 50 years.

Transcendental Tour around Walden Pond

Time: TBD

Marcia Morris will guide us on a Sunday-morning circuit around Walden Pond--and perhaps Thoreau himself will join us.
