2025 BHS 45th REUNION: CLASSES OF 1980, 1981 & FRIENDS

September 3, 2025:

Homecoming Parade Float Event

Karen Piper and Laurie Ramsey-Grant are coordinating the effort to build another "Award Winning" Homecoming Parade float. They will need volunteers to decorate our Homecoming Float in the days before the actual parade, so please register if you are interested in helping with this project. Otherwise, plan to line the Homecoming Parade route and cheer on your classmates.

September 4, 2025: 

Meet and Greet Class Socials

Class of 1980 - Pam and Lance Lane have once again enthusiastically agreed to host our 2025 45th Reunion Meet and Greet. Please register if you plan to attend.

September 5, 2025: 

Tailgate Party at the Burkburnett Community Center and Gazebo

Before the Bulldogs and Wildcats Homecoming Game, we will rally at the Burk Community Center to visit with classmates and BHS Faculty, don Homecoming Game Mums, get your Grrr-rowl Towels, and put on our spirited game faces for the big game. A local food truck, Boomtown Bistro, will be available for food and drink purchases. In addition, a music playlist provided by Rick Hatcher will be played. We have secured the north end of the Community Center and the Gazebo area. Please register if you plan to attend.

Homecoming Game - Burkburnett Bulldogs vs Henrietta Wildcats

The Homecoming Game starts at 7 PM. Tickets for the Homecoming game usually sell out quickly, so we encourage you to buy your tickets as soon as they are available for purchase, on or about 9/1/25. Tickets can be purchased via the link provided below or via the QR code at the bottom of this page:

If not sold out, Homecoming Game tickets will be available for purchase at the game.  We hope our alumni will join us to create a strong presence in the stadium as we cheer on our Bulldogs to victory against the Wildcats.  We would love to see 100 or more at the game. Please register if you plan to sit with your classmates at Bulldog Stadium. Look for our banner!

Post Game Homecoming Celebration at the Burkburnett VFW

Following the Homecoming Game, alumni are invited to celebrate the game with fellow classmates at the Burkburnett VFW Hall, where Karen Piper and her daughter are lending their creative talents to decorate the VFW meeting room for our Victory Party. Please register if you plan to attend.

Friday night is also Karaoke Night at the VFW Hall, and we have been invited to take a microphone and share our voices. BHS alumni have talent! Enjoy the great conversations and snacks. Finger foods will be provided. Additional food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Buy some liquid courage and sing your favorites tunes.   🍺🥃🍹👨🏼‍🎤👩‍🎤🧑‍🎤

September 6, 2025: 

Burkburnett High School Tour

We will meet at 10 AM at the BHS Main Office for a tour of the BHS facilities to see how our alma mater has changed over the last 45 years. Please register if you plan to attend.

BHS Reunion Picnic at the Permian Park Pavilion

Please join us at noon at the Permian Park Pavilion in Burkburnett for a fun family picnic event.  Kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are all welcome. We will have food, music, and games including Volley Ball, Horse Shoes, and Corn Hole. We are also working to have face painting for the kids or the kid in all of us. This a great opportunity to visit and rekindle old friendships. Please register if you plan to attend.

A local food truck, Boomtown Bistro, will be cooking up some good eats and fixins for hungry classmates. We will have plenty of ice cold water and cold drinks to keep you cool. Please bring your arts and crafts for show and tell and maybe "Sell". Don't forget your school year books and other memorable BHS items from back in the day, like hats, jackets, blankets, and pictures.

2025 BHS Reunion Dinner and Dance

Our Dinner and Dance was a great success in 2021, and we have once again booked the Half Pint Restoration Hall banquet room for our 2025 Reunion event. Our Dinner/Dance event will feature Texas Best BBQ, a BBQ plate with sides and iced tea. Great music will be provided by Hatch Entertainment, led by our very own DJ, Rick Hatcher. Rick will also serve as our emcee for the evening, and he is sure to wake up our dancing shoes, loosen our knee braces, and keep the evening fun and exciting all night long. Our Audio Visual team is working to update our slide shows, which includes Memorials of friends we lost much too soon in life. A professional photographer will be present to capture many of the magic moments and we will have photo props for fun memory photos with friends and family. We are working on door prizes (donations are welcome). Wait Staff will set up personal tabs for those who prefer drinks from the bar. 

Fees:  $45 per person
