Ronald James Chapman, 53, of Burkburnett, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett with Rev. Mike Rucker, officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.

Ronald was born on April 24, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas to James Elwood and Mary Frances (Baker) Chapman. He was employed with Triple A Insurance. Ronald enjoyed running 26 mile marathons and loved traveling.

He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Chapman; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Verna Baker; his paternal grandmother, Lula Wilson; his aunts, Gwenda Gunter, and Joyce Brown; and his uncle, Wayne Baker.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Chapman of Burkburnett; and numerous cousins, family and friends.
