Carl Wyley Martin, 51, of Burkburnett, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Central Baptist Church of Burkburnett with Rev. Joe Coombes, officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.

Carl was born October 13, 1961 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Peggy Tyler Martin and James W. Martin, Sr. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Carl enjoyed watching Monday night Wrestling, and had a passion for motorcycles, cars, and trucks.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Martin of Burkburnett; his father, James W. Martin, Sr. of Stewart, Tennessee; his two sons, Chad Wyley Martin of Randlett, Oklahoma, and Cody Carlton Martin of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a brother, Jimmie Martin of Shreveport, Louisiana; his sister, Roberta Martin of Burkburnett; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
