Funeral for William "Billy" Mills, 47, of Rhome is at 2 p. m. Sunday, May 24, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Boyd with the Rev. David E. Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Aurora Cemetery. Visitation was to be from 6 to 8 p. m. Saturday.

Mills died Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Decatur. Born Oct. 10, 1961, in Indio, Calif., to Ervin and Pauline (Richards) Mills, he was a construction worker. He was preceded in death by his father, his niece, Jenna Mills, and a cousin, Kari Sue Scott. He is survived by his mother, Polly Ferguson of Comanche, Okla. ; a sister, Donna Bond, of Comanche, Okla. ; brothers, David Mills, and wife, Kerry, of Rhome, Bobby Mills and wife, Aundrea, of Haltom City, Tim Mills of Comanche, Okla. ; nephews, Steven Bond, Travis Bond and wife, Cassie, Nathan Bond, Ronnie Mills and wife, Tiffany, Halston Mills and Tanner Mills; nieces, Ronette Stewart and husband, Scottlan, and Tara Mills; a great-nephew, Daemon Bond; great-nieces, Kaili Mills and Skyler Stewart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers were to be Bobby Mills, Tim Mills, Ronnie Mills, Halston Mills, Randy Thompson and Don Richards. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney File and Randall Thompson.
