Gary Lynn Roderick, 43, of Burkburnett passed away on Friday, April 22, 2005, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 27 at the Jubilee Christian Center in Burkburnett with Rev. Daryl Waddell, pastor, officiating. Interment at the Burkburnett Cemetery with Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett in charge.

Gary was born on June 27, 1961, to James and (the late) Carol Roderick. He was a lifetime resident of Burkburnett. He graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1980 and was a member of Future Farmers of America. He continued his involvement with the Burkburnett FFA Chapter all his life. Working with the kids and animals was an honor he looked forward to every year.

Gary was a farmer and was employed by Electra Construction Inc. He was a Christian and a member of Jubilee Christian Center in Burkburnett. He had a deep love for God, spending time with his children, granddaughter, family and friends. He loved the soil he worked and the satisfaction of a hard day's labor.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Ashley and fiancee Karl Hood of Burkburnett and Samantha of the home; one son, Justin of the home; his father, James of Burkburnett; one brother, Larry and wife Vickie of Burkburnett; one sister, Becky Melton of Burkburnett; one special granddaughter, Devon Hood of Burkburnett; three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ann; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Roderick and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Hageman, all of Burkburnett.
