Tech Sergeant (Retired) Timothy F. Underwood, 57, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2019, at the Lawton/Ft. Sill Veteran's Center in Lawton, OK. Tim was born May 25, 1962, in Magnolia, AR, to the late William 'Ray' and Doris Underwood. He graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1980. Tim married the love of his life, Lori Ann Hutson, on September 5, 1992, in Wichita Falls, TX. He proudly served his country as an orthopedic technician in the U.S. Air Force from 1987-2009. He served overseas in England, Japan, Germany and Abu Dhabi. After his retirement, he & Lori moved to Raeford, N.C., and later to Waco, TX, where he continued his career in orthopedics. Tim was a devoted husband, loving brother, and beloved uncle. He is predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law Rodney Kovtynovich. Tim is survived by his wife Lori, of Hewitt, TX; sister Anita Kovtynovich of Wasilla, AK; brother Bill Underwood & wife Donna of Wichita Falls, TX; mother-in-law Lorraine Hutson of Waco, TX; brothers-in-law David Hutson & wife Carol; Scott Hutson and Randy Hutson, all of Iowa Pk, TX; nieces & nephews Anastacia Tew & husband Richard of Big Lake, AK; Lucas Kovtynovich & wife Alora of New Baden, IL; Amy Kern & husband Jacob of Midwest City, OK; Alicia Pond & husband Drew of Milwaukee, WI; Sam Underwood & wife Elizabeth Hill of Newfoundland, Canada; Derrick Hutson & wife Amanda of Midland, TX; and great-nieces & nephews Kaylee, Corbin, Bryan, Grace, Shawn, Aeden, Oliver, Calvin, Cadence, Anna & Dexter. A private family memorial will be held on December 9, 2019, led by his nephew-in-law, Pastor Jacob Kern.
