Harold Lynn Delay was born on August 7, 1962 in Florence, AZ to Robert Lee Delay, Sr. and Barbara Joy Smith. He passed away on September 22, 2016 in OKC,OK, at the age of 54. Harold attended Burkburnett Schools in Burkburnett, TX. He married Brenda Hauschildt on January 28, 1985 in Wichita Falls, TX. Harold worked as a Roughneck in the oilfield for many years and was currently a seasonal employee for the town of Hinton. Harold loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed his beer. He attended the St. John's Lutheran Church in Hinton, OK.

Survivors Include: his wife, Brenda Delay of Hinton, OK, his children, Samantha Delay and fiancee Cesar Calzada of Hinton, OK, and Robert "Bobby" Delay and wife Kira of Minco, OK, his grandchildren, Rob and Jera Delay of Minco, OK, his father, Glen Smith of Burkburnett, TX, his mother in law, Darlene Tedford of Hinton, OK, his siblings, Sally Delay of Skellytown, TX, Thomas Delay of Amarillo, TX, Julie Delay of Skellytown, TX, Robert Lee Delay, Jr. of Skellytown, TX, Melissa Hernandez of Wichita Falls, TX, Ninnie Doll Ramos of Wichita Falls, TX, Sam Smith of Burkburnett, TX, Schyrelle Smith of Wichita Falls, TX, April Jones of Lone Oak, TX, Rose Delay of Lone Oak, TX, and Casandra Martinez of Burkburnett, TX, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Smith, and his grandmother, Etta Palmer.
