Richard Samuel Meyer, 58, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Grapevine, Texas, with his family by his side.

He was born on April 19th, 1962 at Selfridge Air Force Base in Harrison Township, Michigan, to the late Bruce L. Meyer and the late June A. Meyer.

Rick was a great friend to everyone he met. He loved to have fun and laugh; in his spare time, he would read books and travel. He loved to fly drones and build electronics, and many knew him for his ability to fix anything. Rick was very intelligent and very funny; all who knew him will tell you that they learned and/or laughed with each conversation with him. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his brother Donny Meyer.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Alicia Stanfield and husband Scott of Arlington, Texas; son, Andrew Meyer and wife Kelli of Boston, Massachusetts; sisters, Terri Meyer, and Suzy Meyer both of Grapevine, Texas; grandchildren, Emma Meyer and Wesley Stanfield; niece, Chloe O�
