She spent the last thirteen years being the world's greatest stay-at-home mother and wife. A celebration of Cheri's life is planned for Sunday, May 30th at 7:00 p.m. at The Hills Country Club in Lakeway, TX. All of Cheri's family and friends are invited to attend to reflect on Cheri's wonderful life by sharing memories, laughs, tears, stories and love. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Lynne Knowles, Gloria Taaffe, and the entire staff of Texas Oncology for their professional and compassionate care over the past three years. Cheri viewed Dr. Knowles and Gloria as her personal angels on Earth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a wonderful organization, The Community Table, which was founded by Cheri's dad. The Community Table provides a free meal each week to anyone in need in Cheri's parents' community of Rockport, Texas. While this service is organized through the First Presbyterian Church of Rockport, the Community Table is a non-denominational effort supported by volunteers from several local churches. Cheri was very proud of her dad and this service to the community. Donations can be made to: First Presbyterian Church, 301 Hwy 35 North, Rockport, TX 78382. Please indicate in the Memo/For that the donation is to: Cheri's Community Table.
