Roy Morales, 53, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016.
The United States Navy will perform a Burial-at-Sea ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service to be held at The Rock of First Baptist Church, located at 8th and Broad, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Roy was born on December 20, 1962 in Robstown, Texas to Catalina Sanchez Morales and Greg Morales. He served our country proudly in the United States Navy as a Independent Duty Corpsman before and during the Gulf War. Roy had many hobbies and interests including HAM Radio Operator and gardening, and was a volunteer with the Quake-Catcher Network and a storm spotter for the NWS Norman SKYWARN. He was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Morales.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Morales; his mother, Catalina Morales of Burkburnett; his father, Greg Morales and wife Donna of Wichita Falls; a brother, John Morales and wife Darla of Hickory Creek; sister, Tommie Briley and husband Robert of Burkburnett; three nephews, Chase Troutman, Chris Hardy, and Justin Morales; and numerous aunts, uncles, and family.
